The hanging track range is ideal for environments where the works of art are changed frequently or where it is inappropriate to damage the wall surface.

H track is a discreet extrusion designed to be applied to existing wall surfaces at a high level so that it blends with the ceiling junction or mouldings, and provides a stable point from which to hang artworks using a variety of materials including transparent cord, stainless cable, or stainless rod.

• Stainless Steel Rods provides the most rigid installation, can be supplied in silver or white and will support artworks up to 110 lbs (50 kg) per pair.

• Stainless Steel Cable will provide the strongest flexible cable system and will support artworks up to 77 lbs (35 kg) per pair.
• Perlon Cord is semi-transparent and blends with most surfaces and is the best choice for a discreet installation. Will support artworks up to 55 lbs (25kg) per pair.

**The GL series of hooks and hangers will only work with the stainless steel cable.

USEFUL TIPS AND GUIDELINES

We recommend that the track runs continuously along the wall including above any doors or window openings. Even though this part of the track may never be used it maintains a clean visual line that blends with the building, whereas individual sections of track will look fragmented and draw your attention.

The track comes pre-drilled at 1' intervals which will suit the majority of installations. If you wish to hang seriously heavy artworks (in excess of 300 lbs) then we recommend drilling more frequent fixing points at every 6" or even 4". The track can then sustain loads of 1100 lbs when supported on the stainless steel rods. We recommend that you contact us for larger top blocks which will help distribute the load if you are planning to hang seriously heavy artworks.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Hold the first section of track in place and mark the screw holes. Drill and fix the track making sure that it is installed with the ‘mouth’ of the track pointing down and the screw holes running along the top. Then repeat this process for the second section after inserting one of the pins (supplied) halfway into the small circular opening at the end of the track and use this pin to engage with the next section This will ensure that the tracks all align beautifully.
Repeat this process until you reach the last section and trim to length.

Hanging your Artworks:

With Perlon cord, feed the cord through the top block and insert from the end or through one of the slots on the top face. With stainless cable, feed the cord through the top block and insert from the end or through one of the slots on the top face. With stainless rods, insert two top blocks from the end or through one of the slots on the top face, then screw the rods into place from underneath.

Slide the appropriate barrel up the cord or rod from the bottom and tighten at the required height with the bolt heads facing toward you. It’s much easier to do this with the two lengths side by side so that the barrel heights match.

For artworks with cord on the back, just place the cord over the hook. If you are using the Small Ryman Hanger, hook it over the small bolt and discard the large one and vice versa for the Large Ryman Hanger. For maximum strength be sure to tighten both the bolt (using a screwdriver) and the grub screw (using an allen key).

With the rods at the correct distance apart, the artwork is lifted into place so that the protruding boltheads engage with the Ryman plate on the back of the artwork.
