The hanging track range is ideal for environments where the works of art are changed frequently or where it is inappropriate to damage the wall surface.

This is our most robust track. With the correct installation it will carry loads of half a tonne. At the same time, it is also our most discreet track, with a narrow slot of just 8 mm visible when the track is installed. The Flush Mounted Track has been designed for installation during the construction phase, and will blend seamlessly with the building structure to provide a readily accessible fixing, enabling artworks to be hung at any point and any height. Artworks can then be hung using a variety of materials including transparent cord, stainless cable or stainless rod. We have found this extrusion to be of particular interest to architects and designers as it is easy to install during construction and provides a flexible system with a very low visual profile.

• Stainless Steel Rods provides the most rigid installation, can be supplied in silver or white and will support artworks up to 110 lbs (50 kg) per pair.

• Stainless Steel Cable will provide the strongest flexible cable system and will support artworks up to 77 lbs (35 kg) per pair.
• Perlon Cord is semi-transparent and blends with most surfaces and is the best choice for a discreet installation. Will support artworks up to 55 lbs (25kg) per pair.

**The GL series of hooks and hangers will only work with the stainless steel cable.

USEFUL TIPS AND GUIDELINES

For the best result we recommend installation during the construction phase of your project. After fixing, most of the track is then covered by the drywall cladding, meaning that the Flush Mount Track becomes a seamless element of the building.

The track comes pre-drilled ready for fixing. If you wish to hang very heavy artworks (in excess of 250 lbs) then we recommend drilling more frequent fixing points. The track can then sustain loads in excess of 1100 lbs with the appropriate clips and rods. We recommend that you contact us for larger top blocks.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The track comes pre-drilled so just screw into place making sure that the edge marked top is uppermost. Refer to the illustration below if in doubt. Repeat this process for the second section after inserting one of the pins (supplied) halfway into the 2mm opening at the end of the track and use this pin to engage with the next section. This will ensure all the tracks align beautifully.
This track is the strongest discreet track on the market. If you intend to hang very heavy works (in excess of 250 lbs) then we recommend drilling additional holes along the top edge.

When the track is installed, the drywall is applied over the top of the fixing flanges so that only the core of the track remains visible. The drywall can then be skimmed where required and the extrusion has a small ‘tooth’ to the edge of the lip to aid the application of a skim coat. We recommend applying a strip of 15mm masking tape to the face of the track for protection during this process.

Hanging your Artworks:

With Perlon cord, feed the cord through the top block and ‘hook’ it into the track.

With stainless cable, feed the cord through the top block and ‘hook’ it into the track.

With stainless rods, hook the top block into the track and screw the rods into place from beneath.

Slide the appropriate barrel up the cord or rod from the bottom and tighten at the required height with the bolt heads facing toward you. It’s much easier to do this with the two lengths side by side so that the barrel heights match.

For artworks with cord on the back, just place the cord over the hook. If you are using the Small Ryman Hanger, hook it over the small bolt and discard the large one and vice versa for the Large Ryman Hanger. For maximum strength be sure to tighten both the bolt (using a screwdriver) and the grub screw (using an allen key).

With the rods at the correct distance apart, the artwork is lifted into place so that the protruding boltheads engage with the the Ryman plate on the back of the artwork.
