This barrier is intended for environments where the installation may be of a more permanent nature and has the advantage of not requiring a large steel base for support.

This barrier has become the standard in many of Europe's major galleries and museums and now increasingly in the U.S. and Canada. The upright screws into a stainless steel socket that is fixed into the floor and supports an elasticated cord that defines restricted access but gives to the touch without tripping or injury.

The design allows for the barriers to be removed from the socket and replaced with a plug to leave a flush surface finish when required.

We recommend a maximum of 10 feet
or 3 metres between these barriers.
